Our Community - Breakfast Club
Dawson Park Primary School boasts the fact that we were the first Breakfast Club to be introduced into an Australian school. The Breakfast Club continues to flourish with a steady stream of children participating in breakfast on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7.45am to 8.30am.
The Breakfast Club is a part of our pastoral care program and is sponsored by Foodbank. It provides students with the opportunity to have a healthy breakfast on two mornings a week. This program is managed by the Forrestfield Pensioners League and also provides students with the opportunity to communicate with their local senior citizens.
Approximately 70 students attend Breakfast Club each week.
